Hello Parents,

One month down and more exciting ones to come! The boys and girls are off to a great start and are already starting to prepare for more upcoming events. The following is information regarding several important events in October. I will continue to send reminder emails about each event! All events should be updated in MyMusicStaff.

Sunday, October 9 ^th : Holiday Weekend, NO SUNDAY SERVICES FOR CHORISTERS!

Berlioz Te Deum Concert

Friday, October 14 ^th : Berlioz Dress Rehearsal

• Call time is 6:30 PM – All Choristers need to be on platform seats, with music/folder/pencil by 6:45 PM to begin rehearsal at 7:00 PM.
• Rehearsal ends at 9:00 PM – Will keep you updated if this time changes!
• Choristers do not have to wear uniforms, but please be dressed appropriately for the cathedral.
• We are not providing food or after school activities prior to rehearsal!

PARENT MEETING (SAME DAY)

Mr. McCarthy and Mrs. Dunn would like to hold a parent meeting from 6:45 PM – 7:45 PM in Perry Auditorium (Cathedral 7 ^th Floor). As all choristers would be attending the dress rehearsal at this time, we felt it appropriate to update you on the Choristers financial status, concert schedule for the year, and possible UK Tour information. Please try to have at least one parent attend the meeting.

Sunday, October 16 ^th : Berlioz Concert

• Call time is 3:30 PM in choir room
• Concert begins at 4:00 PM (Berlioz, Te Deum is on the second half)
• Blazer Uniforms with oxford shirts, ties (Boys), black shoes and socks.

Tickets: Please contact Sarah Rockwood at srockwood@cathedral.org to purchase tickets with a promo discount for parents. 

Chorister Open House (More specifics in separate email)

Saturday, October 15 ^th  

• Required for all SR Choristers
• SR Boys (9:15 – 11:40 am)
• SR Girls (10:30 – 12:30 pm)
• Some Jr. Choristers will be asked to take part in “Meet and Greet” portion
• Blazer Uniforms

Dean Installation

Sunday, October 23 ^rd

• Extended call from 2:30 – 6:30 PM
• All girls and Sr. Boy Choristers

New Family Reception Event

Thursday, October 27 ^th

• SR Choristers
• 6:15 – 8:15
• Dinner will be provided
• All Boys have regular evensong prior to event
