Kennedy Center Durufle Requiem
This is our second concert in conjunction with the Washington Chorus. The Sr. Choristers will be performing the entire Durufle Requiem with the Washington Chorus on May 1st, 2016. Rehearsal and Performance schedule is as follows.
Monday, April 25th – (No School)
- Rehearsal 7:30 – 9:00 pm at the National Presbyterian Church (Same location as “A Sea Symphony” rehearsal)
Saturday, April 30
- Dress Rehearsal 12:00 – 3:00 pm at the Kennedy Center
- Discounted Parking Passes are available if requested for this rehearsal and the concert.
- Drop off will be outside the Hall of Nations (same location)
Sunday, May 1st
- Sound Check at 2:30 PM
- Small snack provided before the concert.
- Concert Begins at 5 PM
- Durufle Requiem is last on the program after intermission
- Cathedral Blazer uniform
- Discounted tickets are available online
- The discount code is PARIS2F1, and is good now through Wednesday, April 27th, on all seating sections at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall except for those in the $28 and $18 price ranges. There will not be the same amount of down-time as the last performance, as we have a larger role in this concert. However, we will do our best to provide opportunities for study and homework time due to upcoming AP exams.
